They say the war garden was "the brain of  Charles Lathrop". The National  War Garden Commission included members  like Luther Burbank, representatives of several major Universities, also the president of the General Federation Of Women's Clubs. The commission have been proven to have a large amount of 30,000,000 World War One soldiers were farmers before they joined the war. They had this garden on a bench that was 30 feet above a river and the solders would plant some fruits and vegetables like carrots, squashes, cabbages, watermealons, muskmealons and more. The garden commission would have these contest that you have to have the best can display for caned vegtables from a war garden. They would have fairs all across  the nation.

"The Causes, Reactions,And Outcomes Of World War 1"

The reasons that cause world war one are Militarism, Imperialism, Nationalism, and The Alliance System. Militarism  is when is when the military increases in size and establishments for example in WW1 (world war 1) so many new weapons were used by the military such as tanks, mustard gas, air plains and more. Imperialism is when a small country is ruled by a larger country like by the year of 1900 the British empire extended over five continents. Nationalism means devotion to the interest or culture of ones nation and it was showed in the war was when all of the countries try to show off. Last but not least The Alliance system was when  two or more countries make a deal to take care of each other. The reason that sparked World War One was the assassination of  Archduke Franz Ferdinand in the year of 1914.  Archduke was the heir for the  Austria-Hungarian throne.

There were two events that dragged America to world war one  that got America very mad. One event was the sinking of the ship called "The Lusitania" that had 128 passengers in it. The Germans sinked it with their Submarine. Event number two is Called "The Zimmerman Telegram"  it was when Germany was sending a telegram to mexico saying if they help the central power they will get them all of the counties that america took from them.  That pulled the trigger to Americas gun and they knew that they needed to declare war.

In the year of 1918  our president Woodrow Wilson spoke the 14 points. These point declared freedom for the seas also reduced arguments. The War has ended and the central powers won (Germany,Austria- Hungary, Ottoman Empire, and Bulgaria).  The Treaty Of Versailles  is the peace settlement that got signed after the war.  It was bitter on Germany because they had to par for "causing the war". The Americans went back to isolationism because they were sad with the huge amount of cost of World War 1 also the little assistance that they got for involving in it. I think that between the years of 1920 and 1930 the countries still had some arguments that they didn't solve.

"Two Important Laws That Changed America"

Vote

The 15th amendment was known as a grant for black men to vote. This  law ensured that if you are any race you are able to vote. This law was ratified on February 3 and in the year of 1870, however it had to be in the year of 1965 that some African American men were registered to vote in the south. New York ratified this amendment on April 14, 1869, rescinded on January 5, 1870, rescinded the rescission on March 30, 1870.

The 19th Amendment was the women's rights suffrage. Back in the days women were not aloud to vote
which was wrong. Anyways they had a convention in Seneca Falls, N. Y. in 1848 were feminist attended. This amendment was ratified August 18,1920. One of the feminist was Susan B. Anthony she died before the law was ratified. If you think about it that wasn't many years back when women got their freedom. We should
say thanks to the feminist who fought for  women's  rights.

These two laws sought to address both economic and social problem because it has  to do with voting.  They both have to do with people fighting for their rights. The people had the rights to speak. They made  our world today. The 15th amendment gave former slaves get  to vote. The 19th Amendment gave all women to vote and also gain respect. Without the ratifications and work for these laws our world wouldn't be how it  is  today.

"A Splendid Little War"

                                                                Spanish American War

If  I lived in Europe I wouldn't be convinced that the U.S became a great world power by defeating Spain because they did it in a mean way. However they gained more countries. Also the U.S gained independence and put themselves in Cuban affairs. My opinion is that they gained power in a very serious way and showed people to not mes with them. Also could be a warning to other countries with a lot of  land.

Yes,I  think that newspapers and television can stir so much feeling or even make war because a journalist can do or say lots of things to make their story good. Also to cause war and can twist up peoples words to each other. They do foolish things to see some action and to write another good story. The can be called instigators.

Japans Devastating Tsunami and Earthquake

Japans Devastating Tsunami and Earthquake

                                                                  Japan's Disaster

I'm sure we have all heard about japans devastating tsunami and earthquake. It has been last weeks Friday that this happened. Already 3,400 people have been confirmed dead on last Tuesday morning and 7,000 still missing however, half a million of people are in shelters due to their homelessness. Some people like Sandra Bullock and Demi Lovato donated $1 million each to Japan. The military and many of people are helping to find people and the United States is shipping food there and basically helping the people. CNN stated that the nuclear plant did not worsen on Friday. Also they found Milk and spinach in it.  I hope Japan recovers and many people can be found. If people do what Demi and Sandra did  than the country can recover faster so please help. I send my regards to them and hopes to the people. I also posted some videos too, they are very interesting.
