The National War Garden Commission

          They say the war garden was "the brain of  Charles Lathrop". The National  War Garden Commission included members  like Luther Burbank, representatives of several major Universities,also the president of the General Federation Of Women's Clubs. The commission have been proven to have a large amount of 30,000,000 World War One soldiers were farmers before they joined the war.They had this garden on a bench that was 30 feet above a river and the solders would plant some fruits and vegetables like carrots, squashes, cabbages, watermealons, muskmealons and more. The garden commission would have these contest that you have to have the best can display for caned vegtables from a war garden. They would have fairs all across  the nation.

          This propaganda poster is called War Gardens Victorious was published in the year of 1919.
The creators of this poster is Barney and Maginel Wright. I shows a boy holding a gardening tool and walking behind him are some fruits and veggies and one of them  are holding the American flag. On the bottom of the picture is says and i quote: "Every War Garden a Peace Plant-National War Garden Commission-Charels Lathrop (Pack President). Now some people are trying to sell the copies of this poster to make money lots of it.
